eSim Games to release Update 2.483 for Steel Beasts Pro PE
Mountain View, CA, September 1st, 2009
Software developer eSim Games, LLC announced today the release of a new version of Steel Beasts Professional (Personal Edition).
"Upgrade 2.483 is available for download from our server now," said the President of eSim Games, Al Delaney. "The emphasis on this release is to address a number of bugs that were found after the release of version 2.460. Another big effort was made to refine the vulnerability model of the majority of vehicles. We have already published the release notes a week ago to inform our customers about the latest changes."
Customers are encouraged to study the release notes and version history on eSim's web site: http://www.esimgames.com/downl…E_2-483_Release_Notes.pdf
The 700 MByte patch can be downloaded from http://www.steelbeasts.com/updates/SBProPE2483.exe
"It's an incremental update despite the big download size," eSim Games Director of Marketing, Nils Hinrichsen said. "It requires the previous version 2.460 to be installed already... and, of course, a valid license on a CodeMeter stick."
"I can't thank the beta team's hard work enough. They worked very hard to find bugs and to develop test cases against which the solutions could be verified. Our Lead Artist volunteered to create new models of existing vehicles to improve the vulnerability model so that our simulation results are even more realistic," eSim Games' president Al Delaney said.
